One day there was something in me
that nobody wants to have
Since then I´m fighting to survive

The cancer came into my life
I really feared this fight
I thought my life was over
but I had angels on my side

Too many people have to fight
this hard and unfair fight
They are full of hope to win for good
Behind darkness they see the light

The following months were terrible
Often I wanted to give up
My hair was gone, my power too
When would this nightmare stop

That time went by and then one day
the cancer seemed all gone
I was happy that I had won the fight
A normal life I wished to live

That bad dream never seemed to end
But I decided to fight again
and this never I will regret

Today it is part of my life
and there are many cloudy days

and enjoy the bright times always
